Manu BioStation 8 days / 7 nightsUS$800 per person (all inclusive)Andean Life offers a new, unspoilt destination in Manu, the Manu BioStation and Maquisapayoj, to camp and discover the trails through primary forest. Manu BioStation and Maquisapayoj are part of a private 35,000 acre nature reserve, situated southeast of the Manu National Park, only a short boat ride away from Boca Manu village where you find the Manu Airstrip. On this program you spend less time travelling on the boat and thus have more time to explore the trails, oxbow lakes and small rivers in dugout canoes. From our Manu BioStation and Maquisapayoj base camps you have more chances to observe macaws and mammals at the nearby salt-licks. Tented accommodation at Manu BioStation and Maquisapayoj include: platform camping lodges with double and triple rooms with beds and mosquito nets, camping platforms (large roofed buildings where tents are set within), dining platform with mosquito netting, bathroom and showers. >> Manu BioStation Itinerary Details Manu National Park Reserved Zone 8 days / 7 nightsUS$850 per person (all inclusive)Manu National Park, an area more half the size of Switzerland, was established in 1973 on the eastern side of the Andes, extending from the puna ( 4100m asl), over mountain cloud forest to the Amazon lowlands ( 300 m asl).
